Micul Haos is a curious character gathering. It is a community of strange, familiar and intriguing personalities. A public secret society of beings.
With works between toys, animation and craft-generated illustration and a a cross-disciplinary approach, Micul Haos is intended for the kid inside, regardless of age.
Meet the Team
Micul Haos is a project developed by the Super:Serios Collective. It was created by designer Maria Mandea in 2012 to explore play and craft through experiments with form, color and attitude. In 2023, George Marian Preduț joined to develop how photography can show the characters as real people in their environment.

DesignerMaria is a designer and artist working with the medium if play. She co-founded play design studio Super:Serios, The Play Institute in Bucharest and Laborator Artistic Association. She has a PhD on Play and teaches at the Art of Game Design master.

Artist and photographerA textile designer by formation, George works with the medium of photography to explore public space. By showing the characters as part of everyday city life, he mixes Micul Haos in the urban context. He is part of the Super:Serios Collective.
