Drawing with the sewing machine

If you know me, you’ve probably heard me say that my favorite drawing instrument is scissors. But I think I might have found a competitor! I recently bought a free-motion presser foot for my sewing machine, and it’s allowed me to move freely and “draw” on fabric. It’s so much fun; I totally recommend it! That’s actually how this character came into being—I free-motion sewed/drew everything without a pattern or any previous marks.
